The FDET launches the “Dialogues with Family Businesses” series with the participation of Daniel Marsol

The Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism (FDET) launches the “Dialogues with Family Businesses” series, an initiative integrated into the Family Business Management course, aimed at bringing students closer to the experience and reality of family businesses through leading professionals in the field.

The opening session will feature Mr Daniel Marsol, Director of Marketing, Corporate Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at BonÀrea Agrupa, who will deliver the lecture “Companies and family businesses: are they different?”. The talk will offer a reflection on the particular characteristics of family businesses, their governance models, the challenges they face and the factors that distinguish them from other types of companies.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 22 September, at 5.15 pm, in the FDET Boardroom.

The session will also be attended by the Director of the Economic Promotion Board of the Lleida Provincial Council, Mr Ramon Boixadera.

Through this initiative, the FDET reaffirms its commitment to providing education closely connected to the business world and to analysing organisational models that play a key role in the economy of our region.
